“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 ESV.
It doesn’t matter whether the earth turns upside down or not, the Word of God will remain the same. God is the most consistent person no matter what’s happening, and His words are as steadfast as He is. If His words don’t fail, His ways are sure, and He remains unshaken by our problems then we have nothing to worry about.
Often times, we don’t play our part. We have a covenant keeping God; we have rights and privileges as children of God. We have a voice and better rights than any constitution can give us. How do we know all these things unless we seek Him in prayer and in His word? Only a few people know their real rights in the constitution – I know I don’t know all my rights because I never bothered looking to see. I know some but not all of it. It’s the same with walking with God.
If we don’t seek, we won’t find; if we don’t knock, it won’t be opened, and if we don’t ask it won’t be given to us. So I employ each one of us to exercise our rights and authority. As for the rights, it has already been given to us at the resurrection of Jesus – we just have to use them. Be a covenant keeper, prove yourself worthy of partnership with God, and make use of what He has given you. It’s a shame for us to panic at disaster and that’s because we don’t know our Partner is capable. Let’s do our part because God is keeping His part.
God Bless You.
