Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.
Are you tired of carrying burdens? Jesus said to come to Him. When we come to Jesus we lay everything down even ourselves at His feet. Don’t be afraid, your burden that seems so heavy is not heavy for Him. Jesus cannot be intimated by the things that intimidate us, He is Lord over everything.
If you ask me, I would say don’t just give Him your burden only but give Him yourself. If you give Him your burden alone and not yourself you won’t feel the fullness of the rest.
Jesus is ready for you. Enter His rest and feel His warm embrace. Jesus has nothing against you, He is not accusing you, He is not seeking your downfall, and He does not want to punish or condemn you. He is 100% for you.
The issues of this world can put you in a hard and cold place but in Jesus, you are free and warm. That is what He is offering you today; don’t reject His offer. Go to Him, give all of you to Him, and enter His rest. Stay blessed.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
Despite any wrong we might have done, God’s mercy is very sufficient for us. God cannot run out of compassion and love for us; He has enough to sustain every single person. The recruitment into His kingdom is always open, I don’t think there’ll ever be a thing of there being just enough people God can take into His kingdom or just enough people He can love or show mercy.
God’s salvation is readily available at any time. Anyone can get saved anywhere and anytime; it only requires a surrendered life and confessing Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. We have a free gift and an eternal life of peace free of chaos in God. Friend, how is your salvation? Do you know Jesus and have you given your life to Him?
Salvation in Jesus is the only guarantee of having all things work together for your good; in all honesty, it comes down to this very foundation. Let’s make every effort to know Jesus and to live for Him; there’s no better enjoyment outside of Him, no greater sense of accomplishment outside of Him, and no stronger security outside of Jesus. He is everything we need. I invite you to Jesus, call His name, and continue to call His name because there is no other name that we can be saved by than the name Jesus.
Check your salvation pulse and make sure it’s beating for Christ. Stay blessed.
Welcome to February! Everything is working for your good – Romans 8:28. Join me as we pray…
In this month, this is the confidence we have in Him, that He who has begun a good work will surely bring it to full completion in Christ Jesus. Continue to trust Jesus; He’s the only one that cannot fail. Our confession this month is: “everything works together for my good!” Have a lovely day!

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV
Here’s a truth about life; it’s not over until God says so, and it’s not finished until God says so! In drawing the curtain on what God has been saying in Isaiah 43:18-19, remember that you have a fresh start in God. God makes all things new – brand new, new slate vibes.
Don’t count yourself out of it, and don’t doubt what God can do with your life. You are precious and loved; you were thought of, uniquely made, and divinely appointed to be God’s own possession. Your life matters and your contribution to this earth matters a lot; in case you don’t know you are needed, and that is why God made you uniquely for a time like this.
I want to tell you it’s not over for you. Jesus can make you whole, and if you will allow Him, you will sprout out again. Jesus gives life and He restores broken people and broken things.
If you think something is out of place in your life, tell Him these words: Jesus, I welcome You into my life right now, and I accept You as The Way, The Truth, and The Life. I agree to everything You want me to be and may You restore my life to Your original plan. Thank You for loving me and for making me whole in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Friend, it’s not too late for you – you’re just getting started! 🙂
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past, NIV. But forget all that it is nothing compared to what I am going to do, NLT. Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old, ESV.Isaiah 43:18
As much as this is so exciting for me, I can’t help but notice the command in these words: forget the former things; forget all that, remember not the former things – whether they were good or bad God says to forget them all because He’s doing a new thing. We can’t perceive what God wants to do if we are still holding on to the past, and we can’t do much if we are measuring today’s capacity to yesterday’s capacity. What is it that you must forget in your life? What has held you in the same place for a very long time? Can you release it to God and most importantly, release your life to Jesus?
Personally, I have to forget past failures and everything that didn’t work out the way they should have. I’m letting go of shame and the years I think I have lost and reaching toward what’s ahead of me. One thing is for sure, God will restore, and there is nothing that can stop that from happening.
Times like this bring us to a place of gratitude to God, because really, who are we to be restored, strengthened, and empowered by God Himself? When we give God praise despite everything, He raises us up and sets us with Himself. He restores joy, peace, and sound mind and He gives us the strength and boldness to move on – that’s how we’re able to shake off the past and press forward.
Friend, release yourself from your past. It does not matter what went wrong. God can fix it all – there is nothing God cannot fix; there’s nothing too broken that He cannot repair; and there is nothing lost that He cannot give back. If you believe this, forget the past as He has said, and be rest assured you’ll certainly thrive in the new seasons He’s bringing you into. Stay Blessed!
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.Isaiah 43:19.
We thank God for new beginnings! It’s a sign of refreshment and an opportunity to get it right and thrive yet again on a different horizon. Sometimes new things aren’t the most convenient, but they would come to stretch and make us stronger and ready for the next level.
Despite the changes around us, our God never changes; He’s always the same. His mercies are new and they never come to an end. God always has something in store, something to reveal, something to transform, and something to make happen.
If you’re reading this, then know that you have a new beginning. You have yet another chance, with God, it’s never too late unless you don’t want the change or the transformation. It’s as simple as saying yes and believing that He will do the new thing He said he would and a path will be made in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Again, God is the same but He brings us into new seasons – just trust that He will come through because His word is the same as He is.
Self-doubt. Self-shaming. Self-condemnation. Self-criticism. Self-demeaning. Self-pity. Have you ever found yourself in any of these categories before? I’ve made my bed with all these and many more and, to be honest, it was comforting to believe and think I couldn’t go high enough.
We torture our potentials by locking them up in self-discouragement. No matter what causes our predicaments, we are the sole-proprietor of how our lives eventually turn out. Everything around us has been created. We have a Manufacturer, and to get through life we must know the tools specific to us. When we begin to inject ourselves with self-condemnation and all that, it reduces our energy and makes us incapable of living to our full potential.
It’s not hard to tell yourself, “I am beautiful,” “I am handsome,” “I am intelligent,” “I am rich,” “I am strong,” or “I am capable.” It really isn’t that hard.
It’s amazing that when we have degraded ourselves and all we can see is what is left of us, God comes and shows us a different view of who we truly are. This was the encounter of Gideon when he was hiding and never thought that the grace of God could catch him. Gideon replied, “But how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest one in Manasseh, and everyone else in my family is more important than I am.” “Gideon,” the Lord answered, “you can rescue Israel because I am going to help you! Defeating the Midianites will be as easy as beating up one man.”Judges 6:15-16 CEV
So, let go of all the “Buts” of what you think you are and embrace who you truly are in Jesus. In Jesus, you are: loved, redeemed, sanctified, freed, forgiven, graced, bought, kept, settled, capable, strong for anything, equal to anything. There is nothing you cannot be in Christ Jesus and there is nothing you cannot do in Jesus. Before He died, He said, “It is finished,” and all you have to do is to believe wholeheartedly. This is the journey we are on, taking everything He has freely given us. Even you can defeat anything in your life, and it will be as easy as beating up one man.
If you do not know Christ and you’re reading this today, accept Him as your Lord and Savior and receive all that He has freely given you. Your life will never be the same. You are loved!
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you thought there was absolutely no way out? Remember the times when you felt like if you don’t take the leftover there won’t be any better option than what’s in front of you? Moments when you were pressured to compromise, to take the lesser thing than what you really deserve? Circumstances like these leave us with regrets about the things we missed, because we didn’t wait longer, didn’t stay calm enough, didn’t believe harder, and trusted stronger.
On the other side of our problems is the answered prayer, the thing we’ve been hoping for but most importantly, Jesus is on the other end of it, and not only that He is with us to that expected end. For every problem, hardship, difficult situation the expectation is that we should be able to make it to the other side. We are not supposed to drown in our issues but rather rise above all of them. Victory is a reality, an attainable possession for us who are called by God in Christ Jesus.
When we surrender our will wholeheartedly to God, following Him as The Way we find the other side of every chaos that we encounter. He became our peace, and not only that, He became The Other Side – we dwell in Him and are eternally secured. A life without Jesus is a life drowned in the chaos of this world. How much of the world’s load can one carry? How much of hurt, despair, anger, disappointment can you carry and for how long can you carry such a load?
If you are reading this today, and do not know how to breakthrough what’s in front of you – just hand them to Jesus with your mouth and believe it with your heart. You will be amazed at what He can do with you, not only would you make it to the other side but He will use you to bring others there as well. Try Jesus and see if He’s good. Stay Blessed!
Even the richest man does not have everything. There is something that controls him – I bet there’s something that bothers him. Things do slip through his hands and escape. It makes me realize that when I have the millions and billions and all the lions that come with it, it will just be a little fraction of all the treasures there is in the world.
People get rich everyday. There is room for everyone; there’s room for you to have your own share. We are all custodians of something, if you wanna see it that way. Chasing the things of this world would just leave you tired at the end of the day. So why boast and be proud about just a little fraction of a whole package?
Why chase after something that won’t satisfy? All these things we work so hard for, the ones we have sleepless nights over (I’m on this table), the ones we cry over and think we might never achieve are all temporal – Ecclesiastes 2:22 says “for what does a man get from all his labor and from the striving and sorrow of his heart with which he labors under the sun?”
I’m not saying we shouldn’t pursue all these nice stuff. I have come to realize that Christ has everything. If there’s something missing after all the hard work and toiling then it means I have to find the missing piece. Nobody dies and carries their riches, let’s name them: estates, cars, clothes, stocks, toothbrush, designer stuff, side chicks, main chicks, or boyfriends with them – they leave them all behind. They might have an expensive funeral but even that they won’t even enjoy it because they’re no more. They give other people the right to watch over the things they’ve left behind and the cycle continues.
Jesus is our center piece, the missing piece; He has it all. We can’t have the world without Jesus. We have the world through Jesus. If we have Jesus, then, we have everything. Chasing the world is vanity if Christ is not in it. The cares of this world is plenty; there’s something for each day – its yoke and weight so heavy it gets tiring. But Christ makes it all easy, His burden is much lighter and His yoke is easy.
The world was around before we were born, let’s not try to figure it out on our own. If you ask me, I would rather hang out with the Guy that created it than the guy who is trying to figure it out. I pray that you analyze your life and choose the path of Jesus Christ. The cares of this world is not worth your soul, choose Jesus.
