Stick to the Script

Hey there!

Glad to have you here today and I pray your week has been amazing. We’re almost at the end of the year and our life is still unfolding with new revelations. If you pay close attention to the things around you, you would notice that there’s always something to learn. Learning requires being disciplined and having a heart of a learner; it’s a deliberate choice. If you want more, you would have to accept that you lacking then you can have more. Food for thought.

Now back to what I want to share with you today. Something happened this week and for a moment I almost doubted my decision. The thing about me is that I don’t have lot of friends so I appreciate friendship whether big or small. I love regardless which sometimes makes me look stupid because why reach out when you know they might cut off your hands in return? But in the midst of it all, I have learnt not to exalt the love of people over the love of God for me – so that included making some boundaries and setting priorities in proper positions.

So here I am, sticking to my decision thinking maybe I should go low because I may have my standards too high – but looking back, I’m glad I did not do that. Focus is a verb and we all know a verb is an action word. Which means if you’re not focusing then your vision is distorted because you looking everywhere. Question is where are you looking? What’s so attractive about that distraction that you just have to look? All it takes is a second. People’s lives change within seconds. A glance off the vision brings you a step back, so why risk it?

Don’t go off the script because someone can’t keep up with it. It’s very simple; the character is not for them. Don’t lower the standard because someone can’t keep up with it. It’s very simple; their muscles aren’t built for it. Stick to the script and don’t lose focus. Things will go out of focus a little but make sure you always get a clear vision.

I’m gonna leave it here and see you next time. Love you!
